Nathan Farrugia’s forthcoming participation in the Gehwol Charity Challenge to raise funds for the Inspire Foundation is being supported by Hebe and its leading brand Ice-Watch.

The marathon from August 27 to September 2 includes The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc marathon in the Alpine mountains across France, Italy and Switzerland. Widely regarded as the most difficult foot race in Europe, it is about 168 km long, involves up to 46 hours of running, and reaches a height of 9,600 metres. Apart from the altitude fluctuations, the marathon is run on very difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions.

Classic Group sales and marketing director Karl Micallef said the sponsorship formed part of the group’s corporate social responsibility programme to support members of the community in difficult situations.
