Men charged with stealing gun from Msida residence

A 48-year-old man from Valletta was put on probation for three years and fined €500 after he pleaded guilty to stealing several items, including a gun, from a residence in Msida.

He was charged of committing the crime with Clive Agius, 27, of Floriana, who pleaded not builty. Both men were also accused of destroying other people's property.

Mr Agius pleaded not guilty and was held in preventive custody.

Mr Farrugia on his own was also charged with breaching the conditions of a previous release while Mr Agius on his own was charged with breaching bail conditions.
