GILSON. On August 17, GIOVANNA, née Bezzina, residing in Sliema, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital, aged 86, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her belovedhusband Victor, her children Marlene and her husband Mansueto, Margaret, Josephine, widow of John Azzopardi, Maryanne and her husband Joe, Tessie, Stephen and his wife Janet, Edward and his wife Anna Maria, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9a.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of ward M4 for their care and dedication. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MALLIA. On August 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, HELEN, widow of Giuseppe, of Sta Venera, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mario and Isabel, Josette and Joe Demanuele, Charles and Odette, Pauline and Paul Vella, Francielle and Denis Deguara, her grandchildren and great-grandchild, her brothers andsisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Sta Venera parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30a.m. followed by interment at the Addolo-rata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
