Don't you think Maltese young people get into scrapes when they go abroad.? Don't you think their misdemeanours and irresponsible behaviour cost the locals money?

We're not the sole victims of youthful escapades, you know.

Help was on its way. It seems she wouldn't wait. Terribly tragic.

I may assume that your help maid was not cleaning the windows at 2.30a.m., a time when the streets are probably all deserted....

Well no, not at 2.30, and not so many people are out, but in the dead of night, if you just shout for help in a street that is not wider than 12 meters, you will wake up half the street.

Mr Cauchi

Yes but if the incident happens in Sliema no one will come to help because:
Shouting at 2.30 am in certain parts is the order of the day and no one bothers any more. (mainly rowdy youths mostly foreigners)
AND the police never come when we call them anyway, so do you think anyone will bother?
