The business community will assess their losses due to power cuts and claim from Enemalta, the Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises, GRTU said.

It said in a statement that Enemalta should stand up and be counted.

The recent continuous power cuts at Bisazza Street in Sliema were a show of the shambolic state of affairs at the corporation. Enemalta, the GRTU said, had a contractual obligation to supply electricity against payment. But while the business community paid for the service through the nose, Enemalta was not shouldering and honouring its obligation.
