Friend who will be greatly missed

Mario Galea, who met such a tragic end in Paceville when he was beaten up, left for dead and run over by a taxi, was my hairdresser for a very long time and will be my friend forever. He was kind, caring and funny.

Mario was one of the first friends I made in Malta and he told me so much about Maltese culture. He will be remembered and missed by so many people.

I now live in the UK and I am in touch with other friends of Mario’s and we really cannot believe this tragedy has happened. I am very sad and my heart goes out to Mario’s family and friends at this extremely sad time.
