A number of people are expected to be arraigned in court following a brawl in Victoria on Tuesday night.
While the town was celebrating the feast of Santa Marija, an argument broke out between two small groups of youths outside the Aurora band club in Racecourse Street.
The commotion quickly turned into a free-for-all, with several people throwing bottles and then tables and chairs at each other.
People fled the scene, a number of them with blood-stained clothes. A boy was seen to have a head injury.
An eyewitness said there was “absolute chaos” in the street. The police eventually intervened and order was restored.
A number of people were taken to hospital and treated for slight injuries.
