Cardinal visits Id-Dar tal-Providenza

During his recent visit to Malta, Cardinal Prospero Grech (left) paid a visit to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, where he met residents and staff. The home was founded in 1965 to offer a warm, family-like environment for people with disability who cannot continue living with their family. Today it houses 100 residents aged 13 to over 70. Its annual running expenses are €3.5 million. Photo shows resident Brian Micallef delivering the welcoming speech.
