True, finally some work is being done in Valletta, one little shelter and another larger one at the cruise liner terminal. However, this is not enough to offer protection to all the horses, who apart from shelter, require water facilities. Why are the authorities taking so long to rectify this situation? Have they no shame?
At least temporary low cost shelters should be built, which would protect these horses from the heat they have to endure.
It is the authorities’ moral obligation to offer such protection, as promised.
