A recent training session entitled ‘Think ability, be active’ aimed at motivating young people with disability to think positively about life opportunities, get involved and break society’s barriers on disability, was attended by over 30 people.

The session was held at MIA’s conference facilities and included a presentation on the social model of disability, a case study on the challenges for people with restricted mobility and sharing of experiences facilitated by Inspire Foundation.

The session was organised by JCI Malta in collaboration with the Commission for People with Disability (KNPD), Inspire Foundation and Malta International Airport, and was part of the EU-funded Youth in Action project ‘JCI Think Speak Act’.
