At St James Cavalier and The Splendid Guesthouse, Strait Street (both in Valletta), Mirrored – Critical Reflections. A collaborative exhibition by art students.

At St James Cavalier, Valletta, Divergent Thinkers. Curated by artist Raphael Vella, the exhibition presents contemporary artistic practices by seven young Maltese artists who explore divergent thinking. The works are in different media: from drawing in graphite and digital media to installation, sculpture, photography and video.

At the National Museum of Archaeology, Republic Street, Valletta, Ovid’s Metamorphoses, an exhibition of prints illustrating 36 of Ovid’s myths by the German artist, Monika Beisner.

At The Italian Cultural Institute, St George’s Square, Valletta, Monogramma & Monogramma, a collective exhibition focusing on experimentation, multimedia and consistency of materials..

At the Inquisitor’s Palace in Vittoriosa, In The Wake Of Caravaggio, an exhibition featuring Tamás Cserna, a contemporary painter from Hungary, whose latest paintings are reputed to be inspired by the works of Caravaggio.

At the War Shelters, the Ċittadella, Victoria, Divina. A contemporary art exhibition where visitors are invited to enter the visionary world of Rafael Labro in a fusion of three light waves. This exhibition is part of the second edition of the Gozo Contemporary Arts Festival.

At Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates Premises, 120, St Ursula Street, Valletta, Through My Eyes. An exhibition by Joanne Fenech Portelli, focusing on Maltese landscapes.

At Palazzo de Piro, Mdina, Counting Prayers. An exhibition of rare rosary beads and Archconfraternity articles dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and other related liturgical works of art.

At the Independence Gardens, Sliema, Fashion Fusion, an evening of fashion, music and food from around the world starts at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is free.

At Herbert Ganado Gardens, Valletta, Kinemastik International Short Film Festival, a variety of short films, covering a wide variety of genres and styles, will be competing for the much sought-after jury prize, the Kinemastik Golden Dot. Screenings today and tomorrow start at 8 p.m.
