Andrew Chetcuti will be the first Team Malta member to be in action in London when he swims in the third from eight heats in the 100 freestyle today.
Chetcuti will be in lane five with a qualifying time of 51.98s.
His opponents will be Koloyan Mikayel (Armenia), Avila Soto Kevin (Guam), LeGrand Jemal (Aruba), Hoxha Sidni (Albania), Mohammad Bidaryan (Iran), Rutherfurd Andrew (Bolivia) and Christopher Duenas (Gambia).
The heats start at 11 a.m. (Malta time).
