Police confirm body was of missing Russian girl
The police have finally confirmed that the badly decomposed body of a young woman found eight days ago belonged to Russian Polina Rahman.
Ms Rahman, 17, arrived in Malta on July 15 to learn English for two weeks. Her body was found in a valley adjacent to Villa Rosa, bordering Pembroke, last Tuesday, a week after she went missing.
An autopsy revealed she died from a fractured skull sustained in a fall.

How come no one is responsible for these 'students', i have been living in Paceville ever since, you can hear them screaming and shouting at 4 and 5 in the morning in the middle of the street, what's more is i actually see them lying in bus stops or on pavements when i head out for work; meaning they are free to roam where they want and stay out all night and no one is responsible for their actions or whereabouts. I think its about time the proper authorities do something before another tragedy occurs.

Can someone tell us , who shall shoulder the responsibility in connection with this death?
It is very evident that when the Council, designed and carried the works in this area, was aware of the extreme danger.
Ever since the accident and after the Police have closed the investigations in the locality, many have visited the area and sounded their dismay, towards the Mayor and his Junta at the Pembroke Council.
The Mayor of Pembroke should wake up to the reality, that his Council, is very close to be described as a dump. Too many cars without number plates, rubbish everywhere, derelict buildings with lots of danger and drug abuse. And above all so many buildings, left by the British Forces, that till the present day, are fitted with copious amounts of Cancerous Asbestos sheets.
Ever since Pembroke has had this new Mayor , things went array, and the general public and the Pembroke residents are finding it very difficult to speak to a mayor that cant speak any known language.

do u really wanna know who should shoulder the responsibility? well well ... the answer is very simple... and was first described by Sir. Isaac Newton in the 16th century. Here it is:
GRAVITY!!
... unless we are to blame Austin Gatt for this too :/

@Joseph Caruana,
Without any evIdence of a crime I have to agree with Paul Zammit, without any evidence of a crime this attitude that someone somehow must pay for what happened is ridiculous.

I wonder who voted and elected this Mayor? Let me think maybe .... the residents.....

You may have a point about Pembroke and it's mayor but this is not the place or thread to do it.
The area where the poor young girl fell to her death is part of St.Julians council responsibility. Please when you have a politically motivated rant, get your facts straight!!

I am sure the Police had their good reasons to formally withhold the identity of the poor woman.
