AFM evacuates Algerian sailor

An Algerian sailor who was taken ill on board a shipwas late last night medically evacuated by the Armed Forces of Malta.
The AFM said the sailor was on board the Rhoud El Adra that was three nautical miles off Grand Harbour.
The army sent a search and rescue launch to meet the vessel and convey the sailor to shore.
The sailor was then transported to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical attention.

That is our Armed Forces for you!!! See??? \they do missions like this on a constant basis. Its just sad not everyone appreciates them.....
