David Sammut, hotel controller at Le Méridien St Julian’s Hotel and Spa, was awarded the President’s Award by Starwood Hotels and Resorts for his outstanding performance during 2011.

The award was presented to Mr Sammut by the hotel’s general manager Franco Vella.

Mr Sammut joined the hotel in January 2006 as assistant controller and has since taken on board the duty of hotel controller.

A reception was held at the hotel to celebrate the occasion.
