• Il-Majjistral nature and history park, in conjunction with Malta Outdoors, will be holding kayaking sessions at the park on Wednesday and Thursday at Golden Bay between 6 and 9 p.m.

• Il-Majjistral is also teaming up with Sharklab-Malta to offer guided sessions to introduce participants to the joys of snorkelling and the underwater world which lies in just a few feet of water off Golden Bay, part of Rdum Majjiesa Marine Protected Area.

Sessions will be held on Saturday and August 18. The fee is €12 and €10 for those who have their own equipment. It includes equipment rented from H20 Divers as well as a fee in aid of projects at Majjistral Park and for marine research and awareness activities conducted by Sharklab-Malta. The group will meet at Golden Bay between 9.30 a.m. and noon.

• US-Malta friendship group Stars and Stripes Malta will be organising a summer get-together on Friday at Ta’ Kenuna Restaurant, Nadur.
