Painting restoration

Restorer Manwel Zammit of Żejtun applying the final touches to a cupola painting of St Lawrence at Xagħra Basilica. The work is by Virgilio Monti. The conservation project on the paintings on the side naves has been going on for the past six years and is now nearing completion.
