• Għarb today celebrates the feast of the Visitation with a solemn Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at 9 a.m. The St Margaret Band will play marches at 11 a.m. Archpriest Mgr Joseph Sultana will lead the procession, accompanied by the Visitation Band, at 7.30 p.m. A thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 7.30 p.m. followed by a barbecue in front of the parish centre.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15 a.m., 8.30, 10, 11.15 and at 5 p.m.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at St Augustine’s church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.

• The annual international celebration for the feast of St Joseph will be held at Qala parish square on Wednesday between9 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. The theme of this year’s ecumenical, socio-cultural event, is ‘That All May Be One’.

• The art exhibition ‘Gozo Lights’ will be held at St Michael’s Hall, Citadel Centre for Culture and the Arts, Victoria, between Saturday and August 24. Around 20 paintings by Bulgarian painter Todor Radunov will be on show. Radunov’s paintings capture the bright sides of Gozo and his works are a delicate reflection of light. Opening hours are Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of all professions in Gozo (including couples) for First Friday Mass at St Augustine church in Victoria on Friday at 8.30 p.m. The sacrament of reconciliation will be available before Mass.

• This year’s ‘Christmas in August’, in aid of Dar Ġużeppa Debono, will be held at the Għajnsielem showroom (next to Roses Flower Shop), Mġarr Road, Għajnsielem, between August 7 and 12.
