Alberta receives third excellence certification

Alberta, the security firm, has become the first company outside the UK and Ireland to receive a third international certification of excellence, the Loss Prevention Certification Board approval from BRE.

Alberta has the highest level of certification possible infire detection, fire-fighting systems and in sprinkler systems.

BRE Global Limited, part of the BRE Group, is an independent third party approvals body, offering certification of fire, security and sustainability products and services to an international market.

Certification by the LPCB, one of the leading international certification bodies, is a mark of quality and safety, and confirms that the equipment and systems meet the requirements of the relevant European standards.

BRE Global, incorporating the LPCB, is recognised and trusted for its independence and acknowledged as an authority in fire and security protection. Backed by more than a century of experience, the organisation has worked with industry and government authorities to set the standards necessary to ensure that fire and security products and services work effectively. LPCB is accredited by the government-linked authoritative body UK Accreditation Service.

The approval demonstrates Alberta’s fire detection and suppression systems, alarm systems and sprinkler systems have been extensively tested for functionality and performance and have been designed, installed and commissioned in conformity with LPCB-recognised standards.

All LPCB-approved fire safety and security products are listed in the Red Book, which is published annually and is a de-facto directory of approved and trusted fire and security products and services.
