An enterprising 29-year-old mother was the lucky winner of an iPad after her photo was chosen from thousands of entries on the Maltese deals portal Dealsmalta.com.mt.
Kirsten Ann Darmanin took part in DealsMalta’s Facebook competition and submitted a photo of her parachuting during her honeymoon.
Her photo was chosen by 511 Facebook fans.
DealsMalta.com.mt aims to save its customers up to 70 per cent off full retail price for its range of products and services which include electronics, driving lessons, perfume, food, entertainment, collectibles, accommodation and fashion.
Website CEO Sharon Plunkett said Mrs Darmanin was ableto gather enough likes in the last 15 minutes of the competition and ousted other fans to become the winner.
“All those who register to receive our daily alert have privileged access to the deal-of-the-day,” Ms Plunkett said.
“We will be announcing a new competition this weekend, which I am positive will result in a new batch of subscribers.”
