Chambermaid admits stealing from hotel rooms
A 58-year-old woman was this morning jailed for two years suspended for four after she pleaded guilty to five thefts from different rooms at the Imperial Hotel in Sliema, where she worked as a chambermaid.
Helen Farrugia stole nearly €1,400, which she claimed needed to buy medicine.
