No wonder GonziPN are trying to turn the mess they are in onto Joseph Muscat’s shoulders after the harsh drubbing given to them by none other than European Commissioner John Dalli during the executive meeting, which was hearing the case against Richard Cachia Caruana.

From what transpired during that meeting, instead of attacks on Dr Muscat, GonziPN and Lawrence Gonzi, in particular, should have issued an apology to Alfred Sant and the Labour Party for the vile manipulation of voters’ minds on the eve of the 2008 general election, especially on the Mistra affair.

It is generally agreed, even by GonziPN columnists, that GonziPN had won the election by a whisker due to the way they succeeded in depicting Dr Sant as a heartless and insensitive leader due to his supposed “unfounded attacks” on Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando!

GonziPN is trying a repeat of the same tactics, this time attacking Dr Muscat as if he and the PL are in cahoots with the dissenters within the GonziPN parliamentary group, especially the same Dr Pullicino Orlando.
