Mr NIGEL GALEA and Miss SUZANNAH BONELLO

The marriage took place on Saturday, July 14, between NIGEL, son of Marika and Aldo Galea of St Venera, and SUZANNAH, daughter of Sylvana and Adrian Bonello of Sta Luċija. The ceremony, held at Santa Luċija parish church, was celebrated by Fr Paul Pace, SJ, and Fr Vince Micallef, OP. A reception at Villa Arrigo, San Pawl tat-Tarġa followed. The bride was attended by her cousin, Nicole Sant Fournier. Jan Buhagiar and Luca Farrugia were pageboys, while Maximillian Ghio was ring bearer. John Bonello, the bride’s brother, was best man, assisted by Maria Farrugia. Pat Bonello, Romina Borg, Nicholas Warren and Roberta Sammut witnessed the marriage. Karl Amaira was master of ceremony, while William Moran, Karl Sant Fournier, Simon Moran and Christopher Buhagiar were all ushers. The couple will be spending their honeymoon cruising the Norwegian fjords.

AGIUS. On July 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, DOLORES née Hutchings, widow of Joseph, from Floriana, aged 95, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Josephine, her son Michael and his wife Joyce, her grandchildren Stefan, Christina and her husband Ramon, Bernard and his wife Sandra, and Jessica, and her grandchildren of her late son Victor, Anika and her husband Ivan, Michelle and her husband Tonio, and Julian, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8.30 a.m. for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Frances, wife of Mario Bonnici, residing in Australia, Grace, widow of Joe Pellicano, Charlie and his wife Grace, his grandchildren Ian and Robert, Andre and Doriette, Sergio and Analise, his great-grandchildren Camille, Helene and Isaac, his in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. KUT. On July 15, at Lake Forest, Illinois, under tragic circumstances, VICTORIA, née Grima, Doctor of Medicine and clinical oncologist, aged 44, was called to meet the Risen Christ. She leaves to mourn her untimely loss her dedicated husband Joseph, her adoring son Matthew, her loving mother Mary and mother-in-law Marilynn, her sister Angèle and her husband Hermann, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews Jean-Claude and Daniel-Luc, her niece Veronique, relatives, colleagues and friends. Interment took place yesterday in the US. A Mass for Vicky’s intentions will be celebrated next Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish church, Mellieħa. May the Good Lord grant her eternal repose.

MIFSUD. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, KATHERINE, of Thi Lakin School, aged 80, passed peacefully, away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her husband John, her children, Liam and Louise, Shenda and Greg, Damian and Monique, Tami and Nollaig, Aidan and Kristine, and her grandchildren, Luke, Ben, Ella, Dom, Alfie, Lily, Kaija, Robin and Toby, her brother David Andrews, her in-laws, their respective families, relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. ROSSO. It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of ANTHONY, who died peacefully at the age of 74 in Michigan on July 19, surrounded and comforted by his family members and loved ones. He will be missed by all and always remembered for his kind heart and generosity.
