AZZOPARDI. On July 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, HELEN, née Vella (Eileen) of Birkirkara, residing at Iklin, passed away peacefully, aged 68, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Sonia and Silvano and his wife Nathalie, her grandchildren Edward, Miguel and Jeremy, her sister Grace and her husband Charles Azzopardi and her brother Charles Vella and his wife Carmen, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for the Sacred Family parish church, Iklin, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr. Gonzi, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

COLEIRO – EMANUEL, died on July 17. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on July 23 at 7.45 a.m. at St George’s parish church, Qormi. He will then be interred at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers please, only prayers.

HARVEY – ALASTAIR CHARLES HAMILTON, Major (Retired) RHF, peacefully, on July 16. Beloved husband of Deb and father of Matt and Ed. Funeral on July 24 at 11 a.m. at St Michael’s Garrison church, Tidworth, UK. Donations to Salisbury Hospice.

MIFSUD. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, KATHERINE of Thi Lakin School, aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her husband John, her children, Liam and Louise, Shenda and Greg, Damian and Monique, Tami and Nollaig, Aidan and Kristine, and her grand­children, Luke, Ben, Ella, Dom, Alfie, Lily, Kaija, Robin and Toby, her brother David Andrews, her in-laws, their respective families, relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on July 23 at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. On July 19, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, MARY of Valletta, residing at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, widow of Anthony, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charles and his wife Carmen, Monica and her husband Joseph Bezzina, and Sylvana and her husband Dominic Mizzi, her grandchildren Daniela and her husband George Sare, Antonella and Andre, Tyrone and his fiancée Maria, her great-grandchildren Emily and Matteo, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital today at 9.30 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the sisters and carers of St Catherine Home, Attard, the medical staff at Ward M6 and URO1, Mater Dei Hospital, and the staff at Ward 3 Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital.
