Deborah Tanti

Valerie Borg writes...

She was young and beautiful and only 17. Somehow we always associate death with the old, never the young but, alas, even young people have their darkest hours.

I remember her as a young toddler, running around in circles while her grandad did his best to keep up with her. They loved her so much that they did not want her to fall and hurt herself.

How pretty she was with her golden hair and clear blue eyes. I could tell then that she would be a real beauty when she grows up… but she never had the chance, did she?

She succumbed to a terminal illnes that ended her sweet glorious life and now she is no more.

She does not belong to her grandparents and her brother any more but she belongs to God, He who will cure her, He who will make her smile again, He who will love her as nobody on earth ever did.

Goodbye Deborah. It was a real pleasure to know you.
