Champions League: Third qualifying round draw

The Champions League third qualifying round draw was made in Nyon this afternoon.

The pick of the draw is the clash between Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev and 1970 European Cup winners Feyenoord.

Celtic will face either HJK Helsinki or KR Reykjavik in their bid to reach the play-offs. HJK are 7-0 up from the first leg of their second qualifying round tie against KR.

Partizan Belgrade have made a giant step towards reaching the third qualifying round after their 4-1 win over Valletta at the Hibs Stadium on Tuesday.

Provided they complete the job in Belgrade on Tuesday, Partizan are likely to meet Cyprus’s AEL Limassol, who lead Linfield, of Northern Ireland, 3-0 after the first leg.

The ties will be played on 31 July/1 August and 7/8 August.

The losing sides will go onto the Europa League play-offs while the winners will compete for a place in the Champions League group stage.
