Obituary
CAUSON. On July 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, ERNEST, AMR, Ass. IFHRO (ex-Head of Medical Records Office, St Luke’s Hospital and Health Services Information Unit), of Cospicua, widower of Mary, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Osanna, his sons Mark and Simon and his wife Vanessa, his grandchildren Kurt, Rebekah, Luke, Nicole and Andre, his mother-in-law Beatrice, his sisters-in-law Josette, Tessie, Anne and her husband John, Marion and Doris, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends, amongst whom Vince and Lillian. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Cospicua parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CURMI. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Senglea, residing in Rabat, aged 75, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his son Emanuel and his wife Sharon, his brother Albert and his wife Doris, his sister Sr Giovanna Francesca of the Sisters of Charity, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.30 a.m. for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
TONNA. On July 17, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MARIA CARMELA, née Aquilina, of Siġġiewi, residing in Mosta, widow of Ronald, aged 52, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Abygail Martina, Andrew and Simon Peter, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends, especially members of the neo-cate-chumenal way. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for St Mary parish church, Mosta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZAMMIT. On July 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWIN, of Sliema, widower of Maria Stella, aged 84, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Marianne and her husband Anthony, Monica and her husband Emmanuel, Martin and his wife Anna, Josephine and her husband Vincent, Steve and his partner Lorraine, Elizabeth and her husband David, Mary widow of his late son Anthony, his brother and sister, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.15 a.m. for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery.
