Work plan for disabled
More than 50 disabled people have been assigned promotional and packaging tasks through a project that is providing more work opportunities for disabled people.
The Me2 Cooperative, which is part of a project led by Aġenzija Sapport, is commissioned to work for private companies and government entities.
Family Minister Chris Said yesterday visited members of the Me2 Cooperative in Mtarfa where he encouraged more companies to follow in the footsteps of Marsovin and Offset Printers and use the Me2 Cooperative’s services. The aim of the cooperative is to increase awareness among employers.
Companies interested in contacting the Me2 Cooperative can call on 2788 5110 or log on to www.sapport.gov.mt and http://me2coop.sharepoint.com .

Are The Disabled being paid for this work ?
In UK There are many Controversial ' Work ' Schemes where Disabled and Unemployed are forced to do Unpaid Work ( Called Work Experience )... Or Loose their Unemployment or Disabled Benefits .
I hope this is not the case in Malta.
