Bremont’s hand-painted B1 Marine clock, a design created by The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, is currently available for viewing at Vascas, the Naxxar jeweller.

Mr Wood teamed up with the Henley-on-Thames watch and clock maker last year to create a limited edition run of 14 individually hand-painted clocks. Each clock will depict a different period of his life.

The first B1 marine clock is a work of art. Bremont lent its expertise in the engineering aspect, mostly with the complex and sophisticated mechanism.

The clock is made in England and has been designed in-house.  It features three time zones, a 30-day power reserve, date, 90-day chronograph, and a fully waterproof casing. It retails at €190,000.

The clock’s framework is visible as soon as the front dial is opened to reveal the internal content. The components have been crafted with great care and detailing is as apparent internally as it is externally.

The clock will be on display until Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and tomorrow and on Saturday until 1 p.m. Bremont’s Stephen Lee will be present to answer queries.
