Jean-Paul Mamo, 35 of Cospicua, was jailed for three years today after having  been caught red handed stealing computer equipment and projectors from Fgura Primary School.

He was arrested last Friday evening when the burglar alarm went off and policemen found Mr Mamo coming out of the school carrying the stolen equipment.

Police Inspector Fabian Fleri said the accused had a drug problem and had just come out of prison.
