Obituary
de GRAY – ELIZABETH (Betty) of Paola, aged 69, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Marion and Dorothy, her brothers John, Edward and Victor, in-laws, Anne and Edmea, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be said today at 9 a.m. at Tal-Erwieħ church, Tarxien, followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
PIROTTA. On July 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINO of Gżira, aged 67. Deeply mourned by his wife Mary Rose, his daughter Davinia, his brothers Joseph and Godfrey, his sisters Catherine and Rita, their respective spouses, and other in-laws. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on July 16 at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated.
VELLA. On July 13, at St James Hospital, Sliema, SAVIOUR (of Colonial Store, Valletta) passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary née Fenech, his daughter Josette, his son Simon and his wife Stefania, his loving grandsons Mark and Matthew, his sister Mary, his brothers Ġovann and Alfred, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital, Sliema on Monday at 8.30 a.m. for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttino Cares and Hospice Malta will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive any visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
