It’s not a bird,it’s not a plane,it may be a UFO
Zfort Ertfay quickly interrupted a brisk walk on the Qawra front when he spotted an unidentified flying object hovering over the horizon on Thursday.
The 29-year-old quickly swiped out his mobile phone and snapped away at the object, unable to make out what it was, except that it was triangular in shape, dark and flying at high speed.
“I was out walking, when, all of a sudden, I saw something appear in the sky. It disappeared in a matter of a few seconds,” said Mr Ertfay, from Romania, who is in Malta visiting friends.
The sighting happened on Thursday evening, at dusk. Mr Ertfay estimates it was sometime around 8 p.m.
The Armed Forces of Malta said that an elaborate military exercise took place off Qawra on the day using the Augusta AV212 helicopter. However, it is recorded to have taken place at about 10 p.m., a couple of hours after the sighting. The helicopter took off at 9.05 p.m.
The Malta Air Traffic Services, which monitors whatever is in Maltese airspace, said: “From an air traffic management perspective, all aircraft flying at that hour were accounted for”. They received no reports about any abnormal sightings.
Amateur astronomer David Pace said that the UFO in the picture looks very similar to the “traditional” flying saucer shape. “It’s almost too good to be true,” he said, adding however, that it could be anything. “You can safely call it a mysterious thing.”
This was not the only sighting in recent days. Last week, another UFO was spotted off San Ġwann at about 1 p.m.
Edward Zammit, 29, was on the roof of his house in Birkirkara when he spotted a triangular red object speeding away.” It was like three blobs of light speeding away. It can’t have been flares,” said Mr Zammit.
Can this lead us to conclude that there is life outside our planet? “It is mathematically possible but not very common,” said Mr Pace. The possibility of extraterrestrial beings is even more remote, he said. “Intelligent life is much more difficult. It needs a lot of time to develop”. The UFO Reporting Centre database released yesterday in the UK said that people most commonly see a light, circles, spheres and an oval when they witness unidentified flying objects, with the most common shape reported to be a triangle.

In the expanding universe, it is impossible that only we exist! .U.F.Os’ even are mentioned in the bible, for example: - The Spaceship of Ezekiel, Elias and Enoch has gone with the spaceship, Elias has come back after many years and no one recognize him, painting of ufo’s founded in the Pyramids and even maps of the world are found as know it today, How did the Egyptians know the world as we know it today? Found runways on top of the mountains. That crop circle who made them so perfect and in few minutes. And so on. So in the Universe exists persons that are more intelligent than we are? But, they are not cruel.

This is silly.
If it's not identified, and it's flying, then it is by definition an "Unidentified Flying Object"; a U.F.O. UFO does not mean alien life, or space ship (thought it doesn't discount it either). The term simply means not identified.
As for the mathematics concerning to possibility of life in the galaxy (let along the universe), I suggest looking up the "Fermi paradox".

thank god it's not bird as undoubtedly the times would be alleging illegal hunting of some sort as it infallibly does in all cases.
As for being an UFO - could we be presented with better jokes to take up valuable space.

All these UFO are just military hardward that the public has not been informed about but are in regular use. These type of crafts have been seen in all parts of the world, particulary the San Gwann lights types. Do you honesty think that the mega billion dollars allocated to military research each year has not over the years had any results? How about the 10 billion dollar Hadron Collider, how can that money be justified unless governments intent to use discoveries for military applications? Has anyone ever asked how many billions have the world governments spend so far in finding a cures for the major diseases? Not much or none at all if I can hazard a guess.

In other words, it is a UFO - an Un Focused Object

Assuming that the photo is unaltered, the object in question is extremely close to the camera lens. Objects in the distance are in good focus - mobile phones tend to have focus-free lenses with a very wide depth of field, and the only area out of focus is close to the lens. Also, the object appears unfocused but has no motion blur, so it was not moving rapidly.

Looks like the normal bird/plane shape to me. Also it can't have been travelling that fast if she had time to get out the mobile, turn on the camera and take a photo
