A 16-year-old girl was slightly injured in a traffic accident this afternoon. 

She was a passenger in a black Peugeot that was being driven by her 45-year-old mother, from Attard, in the direction of Salina from St Paul’s Bay.

The Peugeot crashed head on with a Green Matiz rental car, driven by 40-year-old Italian, who was driving in the opposite direction.

The cars were extensively damaged.
