• Today, Kerċem celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Succour. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech leads a Pontifical Mass at 9 a.m. with the participation of the Stella Maris Orchestra and also with that of St Gregory choir.

• The Maria Mater Gratiae Band of Żabbar will play marches at 11.30 a.m. The procession with the statue of Our Lady starts at 8.15 p.m. The St Gregory and Mnarja bands will also take part.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15 a.m., 8.30, 10, 11.15 and at 5 p.m.

• The Żgħażagħ Ġorġjani group will hold an event entitled Xħieda Kristjana at St George’s Basilica in Victoria on Tuesday at 9 p.m. The celebration is being organised by Grupp 23four.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m.,followed by Mass at midnight.

• Ta’ Ħamet church will celebrate the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima on Friday. There will be Mass 7 p.m., followed by a pilgrimage with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

• The Għaqda Drammatika Xewkija will be holding Summer Drama Workshops at Teatru Ġovanni (Xewkija parish centre). The workshops are open to students between eight and 16. On completion of the course in September, students will have the opportunity to show off their talent in a special event, where they will also be presented with a certificate of attendance. • The Victoria International Arts Festival comes to an end with the presentation of Cantum Barbum today and the Grand Orchestral Concert with the participation of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra tomorrow at 8 p.m. Both concerts will be held at St George’s Basilica, Victoria.

• Icono Klasti is an art exhibition by Maxine Attard and Umberto Buttigieg being held at 27 Palm Street, Victoria. Opening hours are Friday from 9 p.m. until midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon and from 9.30 until midnight and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and from 7.30 until 11 p.m.
