Police investigating residence door fire
No one was injured when the door of a house in Birkirkara caught fire last nigiht.
The police said they were informed of the fire, in St Anthony Street, at around 2.15 a.m.
The fire was put out by members of the Civil Protection Department.
An inquiry is being held.

If your exit is a door and it is on fire and spreading into the room you are in serious danger because your exit is blocked by fire.
Perhaps there is no other way out, and/or you are sick or elderly then you could easily die in your own home - this is not a 'prank' it is very serious.

Obviously this is a very dangerous situation - this is arson, and sooner or later someone will die because of this nutter/s - and then it will be murder.

Why exaggerating in any news.... This is defiantly a sad story nut why from a door fire to murder???

Mr Borg you need to be a genius to figure out that arson can lead to a serious deterioration from a door fire to burning a whole house down, besides the fact that victims inside can died out of smoke inhalation. That is not exaggeration.
