Celebrations to commemorate the 198th anniversary of the setting up of the police force started in St George’s Square, Valletta, this morning with activities by the Police Band and shows by the Precision Drill Team and the Dogs Section

Activities continue this evening when the police headquarters will be open for the public between 7 and 11 p.m.

There will be an exhibition of old and new vehicles used the force and a pet show.

The police museum, the crime museum and the war shelter beneath the building will also be open.
