You're wrong about the 'title' of the land. ALL residents have to be informed by law AND there is a scheme in place to redeem the land into Perpetual and even Freehold. These people bring much needed investment into the country. Can't you people realise this basic fact. There's no need for jealously. You should be feeling pride, that these wealthy individuals have chosen Malta instead of another country. And their wealth helps our standard of living. It's a simple fact! And don't all jump on me because I work in Real Estate!

Do the Residents know about the TITLE of their Flat / Penthouse ???

Surely it is NOT perpetual ... it has an EXPIRY DATE, which at the end of the day ALL property at MIDI will revert BACK to the People of the Republic of Malta !!!

I can't understand how people want to leave in such concrete bunkers and yet pay hundreds of thousands of euros for it!?

OK, there's a sea view from some of the apartments, but other than that? Walking from the other side it's quite dark as the sun doesn't reach there almost all all. It's like a huge hotel, but there are so many better places in Malta to live. One could easily buy a house with the pool and garden for the price of the apartment in this overpriced complex.
