Science is Culture and Euro Media Forum are presenting an event for superhero buffs just before the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man tonight at the Eden Cinemas.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stan Lee’s and Steve Ditko’s comic book creation, the event will feature several stands related to Spider-Man’s place in popular culture and gadgetary and include a short presentation followed by a discussion.

Fans who wish to flaunt their Marvel superhero costumes are encouraged to dress up.

The event kicks off at 8 p.m.
