Archbishop Paul Cremona has written a letter expressing his support for Bishop Paul Darmanin, who leads the dioceses within the Kenyan town of Garissa.

On Sunday two churches in the town were attacked by hooded gunmen and 16 people were killed.

In his letter, Mgr Cremona told Mgr Darmanin that the people of Garissa would be in the prayers of the Maltese. He also extended his regards to newly appointed Co-adjudicating Bishop Joseph Alessandro.
