St Paul’s Bay problems

Does St Paul’s Bay local council care about its full-time residents? It’s always the same story every year: people move from their village to Buġibba and Qawra for the summer.

What is not right is that with them come three or four cars per family, vans and trucks. So where do we local residents park when we come home from work? It’s not right. Why are we still waiting for residential parking?

A flat owner who rents out flats on short lets over the summer months should pay a council tax to clean up all the rubbish and dog pooh left behind by people who come to St Paul’s Bay for the summer. Just ask many tourists what they think about Buġibba in the summer and most will say it’s very dirty.
