HINCKS. On June 19, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Michaela Louise née Little and Gary Richard, God’s precious gift of a first-born daughter – LILY ROSE, sister to Liam. A big thanks to the obstetrician, midwife Carmen Scerri and all the wonderful staff at the hospital and St Anne’s Clinic.

Obituary

CURMI – On June 30, GEORGE, aged 85, widower of Rose née Martin, passed peacefully away to eternal life, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved children Ann, Michael and Anne, Margaret, widow of Paul Bonnici Mallia, Robert and Joanna, Julian and Maureen, Ste­phen and Edna and his dear grandchildren Mark, Nicholas, Simon, Paula, Maria, Michael, Alex, Kristina, Andrew, Timothy and Matthew, his loving brothers and sisters, in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ibraġ where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to his doctor and his carer, Lourdes, who looked after their father for so many years, and all the medical staff at Zammit Clapp home and Karin Grech Hospital for their dedication, patience and care. May he forever rest in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Memoriam

AGIUS – TESSIE. Unfading memories of a beloved and devoted mother who was called to a higher life in the service of the Lord 32 years ago. Sadly missed and still deeply loved by her son, daughters, in-laws and grandchildren. A prayer is solicited.

ANTONCICH – MARY. In ever loving memory of our mother, being the sixth anniversary of her demise. Never forgotten by her children, Victoria, James and Henry, in-laws, grandchildren and relatives. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CARUANA – WALTER, died July 1, 1947. Always remembered in our prayers. His children Lillian and Rosemarie Sansone and grandchildren.

ELLUL – JOSEPH. Today the ninth anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his sisters Mary and Lina, in-laws, relatives and friends. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ELLUL. In fond memory of our moth­er TETTY on the seventh anni­versary of her demise. Remembered with love and gratitude by her sons, daughters, in-laws and grandchildren.

RIZZO. In loving memory of our beloved mother MARY VICTORIA, née Xuereb, on the 14th anniversary of her demise. Her sons, daughters, in-laws, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

VELLA. In loving memory of JESSIE on the 29th anniversary of her death. Her children, Mary and Tony Gregory, Vicki and Richard Escott, Leonard and Carmen, her son-in-law Peter Tortell and her grandchildren. Praise be to Jesus and Mary.

Personal

The Cordina and Calamatta families would like to thank the Rev. Clergy who celebrated Mass, all relatives and friends who attended the funeral service and who in any way showed sympathy on the sad loss of a beloved step-son, brother and uncle, ERIC CORDINA who went to meet the Risen Lord on June 26.
