A group of 13 students on Sports Development courses at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology’s Institute of Community Services, recently travelled to Italy to take part in various sports and adventure activities in the Dolomites.

The students practised trekking, mountain biking, ‘via ferrata’, rafting, white water rafting, canyoning, paragliding, abseiling, climbing and zip lines.

This experience helped the students learn more about how to organise and implement different physical activities, some of which are not commonly practised in Malta.

Mcast sports lecturer Dorianne Bonnici and sports co-ordinator Adele Muscat accompanied the group on the trip.
