This month at Deloitte will kick off with a recruitment event called ‘Brightstart’.

“It our intention to present students and graduates with an advantageous opportunity to continue their studies in professional services with constant support from our firm. This support is passed on during their studies and on the job,” Deloitte Malta’s CEO Paul Mercieca said.

Brightstart 2012 is being organised to provide students and graduates with more information about specific programmes for tertiary education in professional services. Each programme is designed differently and offers students and graduates the flexibility to select what best suits their requirements.

The Deloitte ACA Programme allows students to focus on their studies for most of the year while dedicating just a few months of the year to work experience with the company. This programme is designed for those wishing to continue their studies during full-time employment. The Deloitte Pathway Programme is aimed primarily at students reading for a degree in the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy and who are majoring in Accountancy.

Deloitte also offers programmes to law students with an interest in taxation. Students receive relevant support during their studies and the opportunity to gain work experience during the summer months.

Brightstart will take place on Friday between 4 and 8 p.m. and on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Besides information about the various programmes, a number of recruitment advisers will address any queries an individual may have. Various activities will be organised on both days.
