Mr Peter Korsten, So you are pretending that for the grace of your son to see the new roads the police officers have to stay all the time in the heat!!! Wake up please

Yes Mr Peter Korsten, portable traffic lights, you are right still they have to be controlled manually by the police officers on the spot, but at least the traffic police officers would stay on the side of the road not in the middle of the road waiting to be run over by some one, and at least they can find some shade, i know that they are doing a super great job, but to do the great job first they have to safeguard there health, so please before stating that i am saying nonsense please inform your self, i can understand that at that particular place in Marsa there is different timing so please with all your wisdom would you explain to me right now what kind of timing the police are using?? right now they are using there common sense and is working perfectly, the so called portable lights works manually by the same police officers by a push of a button.

It is really shame full that you still see traffic police officers in 32+ heat directing traffic in the middle of the road!! I have seen portable traffic lights that can be used in such cases. All the ministers and hi ranking officers have ac in there cars so they dont bother if there officers stay in this heat. SHAME

You've got a point there.

A portable traffic light? And this whole network of traffic lights (it's not like that intersection is simple) is just put in place and works right away? All timings correct and everything? Honestly, the nonsense that some people come up with leave me baffled at times.
Kudos to the policemen, though, doing a sterling job. My son wanted to see the 'new roads' to the airport, and we were ferried through quickly and efficiently.
