Most of the applications for Children’s allowance for the period July, 7, 2012 to July 5, 2013 have been processed, the Social Security Department said and deposits will be made in the beneficiaries’ accounts tomorrow.

With regard to late applications or applications thatlacked the required information, a forward payment of 13 weeks will be made at the minimum rate of €6.73 per week, per child.

Once applications have been processed and the allowance rate is calculated, the families will be paid the difference.
