QuickFocus – a suite of online products by 6pm p.l.c.- was launched today by IT Minister Austin Gatt.
The product brings together productivity and educational tools as well as email product and e-learning material for ICT and project-management novices and professionals.
Dr Gatt stated that it was in every country's interest to do its upmost to generate better educational opportunities.
"Through the work of MITA and eSkills Alliance, we have managed to strengthen the link between the ICT industry and all educational institutions. Through the Alliance, we are collaborating with the ICT Faculty and the ICT Institute at the University of Malta and MCAST respectively. We also established a strategic alliance with Microsoft which will result in the opening of an Innovation Centre focused on one of the most emerging technologies, cloud computing," Dr Gatt said.
"Industry-driven initiatives like the one launched today will further guide all current professionals and upcoming practitioners in their careers. We are open for such collaborations and invite entrepreneurs to increase investment in innovative solutions which support the creation of educational opportunities," concluded Dr Gatt.
