Yet when a family business manages to maintain this trust while raising its standards to a professional level, the combination is unique.
Over the years, Casaform has managed to achieve this balance and has recently opened a new showroom in Mdina Road, Żebbuġ.
Fresh out of trade school, Godfrey Cassar founded Casaform 30 years ago. He had a keen ambition to succeed and invested all the time, skills and money he had in building up his business. Starting from one garage, Cassar enlarged the Casaform workshops and display space.
Cassar’s wife, Frida, has also been involved in the running of the business from its very beginnings. Nowadays, the couple’s two sons, Rudy and Clint, are also involved in the business – they are both skilled carpenters and have the necessary entrepreneurial skills to strengthen the company further.
Casaform produces all kinds of furniture, from kitchens, bedrooms and dining rooms to living rooms and occasional furniture like wall units, balustrades and staircases. Casaform also imports Satis, quality designer sofas. Casaform also provides a wide range of chairs, both classic and modern, to complement its furniture.
The focus of the Cassar family is to manufacture crafted, custom-made furniture.
“The advantage of custom-made furniture is that it adapts to the client’s available space,” says Cassar. “With ready-made furniture, you don’t have that kind of flexibility.”
Over the years, Casaform has achieved such excellent reputation that most of their business comes from word-of-mouth recommendations. There have also been situations where clients who bought their furniture when they were newlyweds return with their own sons and daughters who are planning to furnish their own home.
The new Casaform showroom in Żebbuġ is yet another investment that further strengthens the Cassar family’s reputation. It is a spacious, well-lit space that showcases Casaform’s offerings to perfection – from the fine details of Casaform’s furniture to the high level of craftsmanship, robust quality and excellent design.
And despite the larger space, clients still get the personal attention they deserve – a personal attention that Casaform has been offering for three decades.
