Interconnector project discussed with Sicilian authorities

The interconnector project between Malta and Italy was discussed today during a meeting in Sicily between Finance Minister Tonio Fenech and the President of the Sicilian region Raffaele Lombardo.

The meeting was aimed at ensuring that the process which should lead to the award of the permit for the interconnector by the Italian authorities would not fall behind, especially now that certain technical issues have been resolved.

Mr Fenech stressed the importance of the project for Malta while Mr Lombardo expressed his commitment to ensure that the process continues as agreed between the two sides.

Mr . Debono , just what the heck watching RAI tv and discussing the interconnector have in common ?? You must be living on another planet cos I am watching all the Italian channels , including RAI . Unless you , like your misguided friends , want to politicize the subject .

Not long ago we were told to use a certain box to be able to see programs, Maltese or certain Italian channels. That was well and good. Now since a week the Italians have changed the transmitting system and those who bought the box to see the Maltese and certain Italian channels are deprived from seeing the RAI UNO and Due.
My insertion was purposely sent to the Times to get information on how the Italian Channels are seen and I thank those who informed us how to see again the two Italian channels. Thanks.
