Pullicino Orlando’s three challengers

Two former ministers and a government MP yesterday challenged fellow backbencher Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando to name the 10 government MPs who, he claimed, wished to vote in favour of the opposition motion censuring Malta’s EU permanent representative Richard Cachia Caruana.

Louis Deguara, Jean Pierre Farrugia and Censu Galea were speaking during the adjournment of the House.

Dr Farrugia also claimed that it was absurd that internal PN affairs had been leaked to the media.

He mentioned an e-mail he had circulated to other MPs for internal consumption, which had been leaked.

It was also unjust that Dr Pullicino Orlando had claimed that 10 MPs were in agreement with him but failed to mention them in detail.

He challenged the Nationalist MP to name these MPs.

After Dr Pullicino Orlando’s allegations, the PN had issued a signed declaration by the 33 government MPs who had voted against the motion, saying that it was not true that anyone of them had any intention to vote for the Opposition motion.

But in response Dr Pullicino Orlando declared he would not reveal the names.

Issa jigi Joseph isolvielna il-problemi hu.......PL weren't even capable of lasting 5 years back in 1996 and here they are giving us advice on what to do......that is the actual joke!!! Riding on the backs of grown up kids such as Franco, JPO and Mugliett so Joseph can finally declare himself the 'Tony Blair' of Malta.....indeed.....the JOKE of the century!!!

@Ivan Cachia: Jekk ma jsolvix il-problemi ghallinqas jipprova jsolvihom u jaghti stabbilita' lil pajjiz ghax bhalissa qieghed fl-abissi. Jigifieri, anke jekk ma JM ma jaghmel xejn is-sitwazzjoni tkun diga hafna ahjar, ghax JM jispira fiducja lil maggoranza tal-Maltin filwaqt li l-Pn jispira ridikulagni u stagnar.

Ohh Shut up Ivan and try to think for a second ... again with the past... if you like history that much go take a course of past history so that you can be adjourned !!!! Technically, that's what Joseph Muscat will be doing as a Prim Minister ... solving YOUR (the former Government )problems.

Dear Alex
May be you were still with nappies when labour was in government. Also yor parents were receiving children allowance . That's why you do not remember the good old labour days . Are you one of those paying your home loan cause of the prices of estates . Well wish you lived in those good old days . I was just a normal worker , married with 2 children living a better life then I am now even that my children are married .

Unfortunately, Alfred Sant had a habit of accusing almost all his opponents of political and moral corruption so his accusations against Pullicino Orlando were met by general disbelief.

He had cried wolf too many times to be credible.

Joseph Sammut

@ Antoine Vella: No one is perfect but Dr. Alfred Sant is a good politician who unfortunately and due to circumstances of the day was not given the chance to prove it. Anyone who judges any politician over a mere 18 months is to say the least foolish.

@BARNY

What has his personal life got to do with politics???? This is a free country , and if you are a PN and your partner is a PL supporter so what??? What are you implying??? These people have what it takes to be politicians, they are not YES SIR people, Gonzi PN is in full swing now, as these politicians have come out in puplic so they can be segregated. This is why GONZI PN should call an election, why is he scared???? These people are not, he should take a leaf from there book.May it be for personal gain or not, we shall never know but once in ones life, we must stand up and be counted and speak our mind.
Every time i hear GONZI PN it's like hearing a propaganda machine bent on destroying PL credibility but it is coming from within, when you have dissent among your ranks, well,l what is there to do????????????????????????????

Franco Farrugia

"Every time i hear GONZI PN it's like hearing a propaganda machine bent on destroying PL credibility"

I wonder what you hear whenever you hear Muscat's speaches? Definately not plans, proposals or a vision for the country.
