I am absolutely disgusted with Melita. I have been a customer since they first started their service and have never had a complaint until now.

I decided that I no longer required the second box I had with a small TV and as it was costing me €5.50 a month I asked to have it removed.

I had disconnected it and said I would return it. I was told I could not do this and that the technician had to come and disconnect the wiring! What utter rubbish; the technician came and picked up the box from the table where I had put it. He was in my home for approximately two minutes and I was charged €19.99. He did absolutely nothing else. That was almost equivalent to four months’ rental.

I consider this ludicrous and daylight robbery.
